Thuy

A startling and fantastic discovery.

Thuy Le, with a tray of bánh mì

When Thuy came to America she made a startling and fantastic discovery — and she has gathered everything she learned since to offer you two things: the Vietnamese sandwich, bánh mì, and boba tea.

At its best, the bánh mì is a brilliant combination in every sense. Cultures, textures and temperatures all meet as French bread cradles a wealth of Vietnamese flavors, from hot, crunchy grilled pork to cool pickled vegetables — with our secret smear.

What sets boba tea apart is the tapioca at the bottom of the cup: chewy pearls, soft as gummy candy, made from the cassava plant. The original boba milk tea was black tea, condensed milk and sugar. As the drink caught on, it came to be made in — as we like to say — a gajillion flavors.

Sixty of them are on our menu. Come fall in love.

In the press

What they wrote about the bánh mì.

There's a haunting five-spice flavor to this sandwich.
